In our workshop, which pays careful attention to the manufacturing environment, we have living "indigo vats" that are always kept in top condition and are looked after by our indigo dyeing artisans with all their heart and soul every day. The indigo dye, which is painstakingly made using the finest indigo leaves from Tokushima, one of Japan's leading indigo growing areas, is a precious dye worthy of being called JAPAN BLUE.
For this indigo dyeing experience, we will be using only bamboo cloth, which we feel is the best material and has the best indigo color.

Lunch experience plan details

This is a great value plan that combines an indigo dyeing experience with a meal (all-you-can-eat Genghis Khan lunch) to fully enjoy culture and food.
After the experience, we will transport you to the lunch venue, so you can enjoy yourself to your heart's content without worrying about access.
At the lunch venue, Sapporo Beer Garden, you can not only eat delicious Genghis Khan, but also visit a historic beer museum and a garden shop.
Take this opportunity to enjoy the fascinating sights that are unique to Higashi Ward, Sapporo.

[Notes about the lunch experience plan]

Please note that the reservation time for this experience is limited to 10:00AM onwards due to lunch schedule. Thank you for your understanding.
Please note that the shuttle service to Sapporo Station before the tour is only available for reservations of 3 or more people.
Transportation to the lunch venue will be provided to all guests, regardless of the number of guests.
The indigo dyeing experience will be the same as the regular plan.
The all-you-can-eat Genghis Khan lunch included in the plan is equivalent to the "Classic! All-You-Can-Eat Course 120 Minutes (3,800 yen)" and is included in the experience fee.
Any changes to the plan, drink orders, or additional a la carte items on-site (exceeding 3,800 yen) will be charged separately at the venue.
Please note that, although it is possible to order individual items at the venue instead of the set course, we cannot offer refunds or refunds for any difference in price, even if the total amount of your meal purchases is less than 3,800 yen.
Depending on the end time of the experience, the start time of lunch may also change.
You cannot specify the venue or seating for lunch. (We will reserve seats for you at the Hokkaido Kaitakushi Building or Poplar Building in Sapporo Beer Garden.)

About Reservations

[How to apply for the experience]

Please fill in the necessary information, such as your desired date and time and the number of people, on the application form and submit it.
(At this point your request has been accepted)
After confirming the details, our staff will contact you to confirm the date and your reservation will be complete.
In principle, reservations must be made at least two weeks before the desired date.
Depending on the situation at the workshop, we may not be able to accommodate your desired date. Thank you for your understanding.

  • ◆The experience is limited to a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 5 people.
    (We regret to inform you that we do not accept reservations for single guests.)
  • ◆Target age is 12 years old and above.
  • ◆The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
  • ◆The finished work will be handed to you on the day or mailed to you at a later date.
  • ◆Currently, the experience is limited to bamboo stole. We do not accept bring-in experience.
  • ◆Reservations can be made from 10:00 to 16:00 on weekdays to Saturdays.
